Roadmap of Support (30-60 minutes) – Learn about the dynamics of empathy and supporting someone who may be struggling with their mental health through 4 basic steps (Be Aware, Connect, Refer, Follow Up).
Counseling Services Overview (10-15 minutes)- Overview of counseling options available to ASU students and other helpful university resources to support student mental health.
Stress & Resilience (30-60 minutes)- Understanding the cycle of stress and the human response to stress that impacts one’s mental health. Learn about resilience practices and the identification of helpful strategies to remain resilient through stress and changes.
Loneliness & Social Connectedness (30-60 minutes)- Understanding loneliness in college; identifying helpful strategies to support well-being and connectedness, including gratitude practices, reframing patterns of negative thought and knowing when and how to seek additional support.
Emotional Intelligence (30-60 min) - Emotional intelligence is crucial for personal, academic, and professional success, influencing how we handle stress, make decisions, and interact with others. Learn about the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and utilize emotions effectively.
Imposter Syndrome (30-60 min) - Understanding the psychological pattern in which individuals doubt their accomplishments. Learn how to address Imposter Syndrome through self-reflection, cognitive strategies, and practical actions.
Conflict Resolution & Communication (30-60 min) – Learn about the dynamics of conflict, effective approaches for managing conflict, and communication strategies for navigating conflict in relationships.
SafeTALK (3.5 hours) –SafeTALK is a half-day training in suicide alertness skills for individuals 15 years or older. SafeTALK is a training for members of the ASU Community to support and advance mental health promotion and suicide prevention strategies. SafeTALK participants will gain confidence in asking people about suicide directly, connecting them to life-saving resources, and keeping them safe until helpful resources are in place.
